What is the sweetener used in Sparkling Ice® products?

The pH level of Sparkling Ice is approximately 3.

How many grams of carbohydrates are in Sparkling Ice products?
As measured according to FDA requirements, Sparkling Ice has 0 grams of carbohydrates (sugars) per 8 oz. serving.

Is it normal to have sediment floating in my Sparkling Ice?
Yes. There’s 1% real juice in each Sparkling Ice bottle, which also contains real fruit pulp. You can lightly shake the unopened bottle and most of the pulp will redistributed back into the liquid.

Do Sparkling Ice beverages contain caffeine since they have green tea extract?
No. Our green tea extract does not contain caffeine; so Sparkling Ice remains caffeine-free (except for our Sparkling Ice Plus Caffeine and tea products).

What is the potassium content of Sparkling Ice flavored water?
30 mg potassium / 8-oz. serving in the Ice products.

Is the color safe?
All of the colors used in Sparkling Ice products are approved and deemed safe for food use by the US FDA.

Why did Kiwi Strawberry turn pink?
To support breast cancer research, we turned Kiwi Strawberry pink. Every year, Talking Rain donates a portion of its revenue to fund breast cancer research. In 2017, we donated $25k. In 2018, we will be doubling our donation to $50k.

Now that Kiwi Strawberry is pink, did the flavor change?
No, this unique and always refreshing flavor remains the same. Some consumers have said it tastes sweeter due to the color perception. Our fans told us the new version was preferred over the previous version.

Now that Lemon Lime is clear, did the flavor change?
With the color change, Lemon Lime was reformulated to offer a crisper and more refreshing Lemon Lime flavor. Our fans told us the new version is preferred over the previous version.

Why was red 40, blue 1, yellow 5, and yellow 6 removed / why were colors from natural sources added?
You asked, and we heard you. We listened to our supporters and heard that colors from natural sources are important to them. We deliver the same bold flavor and vibrant colors that Sparkling Ice fans are used to, now with colors from natural sources.

Where can I find the expiration date on your product?
Each bottle has a code near the shoulder of the bottle. It is the first 6 numbers on the top line MMDDYY.

Are Sparkling Ice beverages products gluten-free?
Yes.

Are Sparkling Ice beverages Kosher?
Yes. Sparking Ice beverages are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.

Is Sparkling Ice Vegan?
No. There is a very small amount of Lanolin in the vitamin blend. Lanolin is a by-product of sheared wool.

Where can I purchase Sparkling Ice products?
Sparkling Ice is available at most major retailers. If you are unable to locate in in-store, you can always purchase online at Amazon. Our company does not sell direct.

Why was the juice content reduced?
Our fans told us they wanted natural colors and we listened. Natural color sources include fruit and vegetable juices, which contain naturally occurring sugars. To ensure we delivered on our zero-sugar promise, we reduced the juice content.

Why was Vitamin A added?
We listened to our fans and found they want more antioxidants. Vitamin A was added to increase our antioxidant levels. Vitamin A is an essential nutrient and fat-soluble vitamin that is naturally present in many foods. Vitamin A’s main function is to promote healthy eyesight and vision. It is also aids the immune system and helps develop strong, healthy bones.

What Fruit or Vegetable Juice are you using for coloring?
Color sources vary from carrot to sweet potato to grape (and many in between). Our Consumer Relations team can help you with any individual Sparkling Ice color source questions you may have.

Why does the back label say this product is “Low Calorie”?
FDA regulations require that any beverage with “Zero Sugar” on the front label must also include the “Low Calorie” statement.

How is Sparkling Ice “zero sugar” even though it contains juice?
At 1% juice, Sparkling Ice contains only a trace amount of sugar, an amount the FDA considers to be zero sugar.

Are your bottles recyclable?
Yes, our PETE 1 plastic bottles are recyclable.

Are your bottles BPA and phthalate-free?
We utilize PETE 1 recyclable bottles. PETE does not contain BPA or phthalates. You can rest assured that our PETE 1 plastic bottles are safe.
